Privacy & AI: how we handle your application data
By giving your consent, you allow us to store your application documents and process them with the help of artificial intelligence. This page explains in detail what that means, where your data is kept, and why we are confident it is safe there.
AI-assisted matching – always reviewed by a human
Our AI supports pre-selection by comparing your CV and application documents against the job posting. This pre-selection never replaces a human decision: every match is reviewed by a person before you receive any response. There is no decision made solely by automated means within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
Hosted exclusively in the EU – at IONOS
Purrcruit runs its entire infrastructure at IONOS, a German cloud provider with data centers in Frankfurt and Berlin. Your data never leaves the European Union. IONOS is a founding member of Gaia-X, the initiative for a sovereign European cloud infrastructure independent of the US CLOUD Act.
Certifications of the IONOS data centers
- ISO/IEC 27001 – the international standard for information security management systems, certified for every IONOS data center.
- ISO 27001 based on the German BSI IT-Grundschutz framework – covering the operation of Compute Engine, Object Storage and Managed Kubernetes in Germany.
- BSI C5:2020 Type 1 – the German Federal Office for Information Security’s cloud security criteria catalogue, attested by PricewaterhouseCoopers (over 130 controls).
- ISO 50001 – energy management certification for every IONOS Cloud data center.
- ISAE 3000 – independent audit of C5 compliance by recognized auditors.
AI processing on the IONOS AI Model Hub – Mistral models, never trained on your data
Automated matching runs on the IONOS AI Model Hub, which provides language models including those from Mistral AI, a European AI company. Processing happens exclusively in IONOS’s ISO 27001-certified data centers in Germany and is fully GDPR-compliant. Your data is never used to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any AI model – neither by IONOS nor by Mistral AI.
Your rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future and request deletion of your data.
